UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) has 3 types, it is Off - Line UPS (Stand By UPS or Back-Up UPS), It is appropriate for computer in the home or for a person who has one computer, On-Line Protection (Line Interactive or Off-Line with Stabilizer), It is appropriate for Centre Service or ATM and the last one is True On-Line (Double Conversion) which is a big size, it is appropriate for a large computer office
Assistant Professor Doctor Iesada Bonyaarongnad said that although On-Line Protection UPS is expensive, Off - Line UPS is not enough for user because it has less equipment than On-Line Protection UPS. So he created On-Line Protection UPS (middle size) which has low cost and high efficiency that sum the accessories from many things to one by using integrated circuit. However, electric current pressure of On-Line Protection UPS is not appropriate with electrical appliances , electrical accessories and modern electronics because electric current pressure is Modified-sine waveform but electrical appliances must use Sinusoidal waveform .But the new UPS can transform electric voltage to Sinusoidal waveform that it is suitable modern electrical appliances and use a battery only.”

Assistant Professor Doctor Nut Kasayapanan, a teacher of Department of Energy Environment and Materials Technology, received award for a perfect presentation of research work award from research work. The research is called Mathematics of increasing quality of transfering heat by electric field technique and increasing simulator surface. In the present, He also received capital for developing this research and toke the articles in the country which has seven articles.

Midterm Examination of second semester, Academic Year 2007.
On 18-29 December, 2007, there will be examination of KMUTT students so it is time of tension of each student. To have a good grade, must read many books for a good future. Thus, a library has many people. You will see students read the books, discuss with friends, or learn with teacher for increasing knowledges.
Final Examination of second semester, Academic Year 2007.
On 3-13 March, 2008, there will be examination of KMUTT students. However, all students should prepare the knowledges for examination in early, who should not think that it has much time.

HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana passed away.
Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra or Somdet Phra Chao Phee Nang Ther Chao Fa Galyani Vadhana Krommaluang Narathiwat Rajanagarindra passed away at the Siriraj Hospital on Wednesday morning ,02 January 2008 at 2:54 am., the Royal Household Bureau announced. So the teachers , the students , including administrator of University will wear the black clothes and all entertainment venues are asked to suspend activities for 15 days to mourn for the death of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana.
